# Pictures

An image-first carousel shows all pictures immediately. Previous/next controls
and a thumbnail rail move through the gallery. The selector beside the page
title filters the carousel to All, AI, or Camera, and an optional expandable
grid shows the active selection. The current picture title sits below the image;
collection and author metadata stay out of the carousel.

Two image collections by Charlie Thompson:

- AI: Midjourney and other AI-assisted images.
- Camera: photography.

Images can be added to `assets/pictures/` and listed under the matching
collection in `data/pictures.json`. See `data/pictures.README.md` for the
entry format.
